Crysis 4 is Announced, and It’s Coming

Crysis 4 is officially announced via a teaser coming from Crytek which had been leaked on Chinese social media before its release. Don’t get all worked up yet, though, as it is in the early development and “will be a while yet”.

The teaser doesn’t give many details about the game, shows specific objects, and at the end of the teaser, it says “Join the journey. Become the hero.”

Crytek CEO Avni Yerli has said that the details about the game will be released “when we can.” So we will be waiting for a while considering their aim is to release “a truly next-gen shooter,” and it hasn’t been much since the development has started.

It’s been 9 years since the last game of the franchise, Crysis 3, but we have seen the release of the remastered trilogy recently, which was an indication of the 4th installment for the franchise by many. Well, I guess they were right.
