Chris Pratt to Voice Mario in The Super Mario Bros. Movie
Chris Pratt will be the voice of Mario in the Super Mario Bros. movie, Nintendo reveals. The movie will be made by Illumination Entertainment, and I have high hopes for it.
Wondering who is in the rest of the movie’s voice cast is? I gotcha. The cast goes on as follows: Charlie Day as Luigi, Anya Taylor-Joy as Peach, Seth Rogen as Donkey Kong, Jack Black as Bowser, Kevin Michael Richardson as Kamek, and Fred Armisen will bring voice to Cranky Kong. Lastly, Sebastian Maniscalco to voice Foreman Spike.
This announcement marks the first-ever reveal about the movie from Nintendo, which was done in a Nintendo Direct two days ago. That means it took around three years for us to know a detail about the project that was announced way back in 2018.
The Super Mario Bros. movie is set to release on December 21st, 2022. While it is said that Nintendo is also looking for other animated projects, we can just wait for now.
