Steam Beta program participants just got their hands on the overhaul for the downloads tab. To be fair, there is a lot of improvement going on. We got something even more interesting though, and that is the brand new storage management feature that lets you move your games between your hard drives.

Mainly, the overhaul is based on UI improvements, but hey, this whole storage management thing is a major thing on its own. UI improvements might feel useless to you, but they’re absolutely not. For example, the new icons for the type of update that the specific game has received can help you determine whether you should wait for the update or not to hop in.

Overall, the update has focused on updating the whole UI while increasing accessibility. Interested? Check the full patch notes here.

While we don’t know when will we be getting this update for the public, it seems that Valve is on the correct path in terms of accessibility. I’ll be looking forward to seeing what they decide to add or improve in the future.
