Xbox Boss Says Xbox Series X/S Controller will Probably be Updated, Notes from PS5 May be Taken As Well

When we take a deep look at Xbox Series X/S controllers, it’s viewable that Microsoft wanted to play it safe. With a few additions to it, the controller of Xbox Series X/S is looking pretty similar to the one Xbox One had. Now, Xbox boss Phil Spencer says that they might take a look at the controller and update it, they might also take notes from PS5 DualSense’s design.

The news comes from Kinda Funny Gamescast, where Phil Spencer joined in a recent episode, he said that Xbox is not planning to roll out new hardware like VR headsets, but Xbox will likely freshen its controller design. He also commended Sony for the DualSense design and features.

Microsoft is probably already working on the upgrade for their controller since they have sent a survey to the owners of specific consoles asking if they would like to see PS5 DualSense’s features in their controller. Also, for those still hoping for VR headsets, Xbox made it clear that they are not planning to release VR-related hardware.
