God of War Ragnarok Will Only Release for PS5, Apparently

After the reveal of God of War Ragnarok, discussions about the game’s release consoles kept going on. Sony had announced that the game would release for PS5, but we didn’t have any clue about the case of PS4. Now, according to an insider, seeing this game release for PS4 is nothing more than a dream.

The insider claiming this is Navtra, and this is not the first time they told us that Ragnarok isn’t coming for PS4. And they have made it clear that the game won’t be releasing PS4 after some arguments spiced up related to the topic. According to the information they received, God of War Ragnarok isn’t the only title that will be exclusive to PS5: Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart and Demon’s Souls will also release for only PS5.

Keep in mind that this information may not be 100% correct, so take it with a pinch of salt. Also, Navtra mentioned that the plans they know about Sony’s future plans could have been changed, so anything is possible at this point.

Releasing such a title to only PS5 could make players buy even more PS5 consoles(if there’s any to buy), but releasing the game for PS4 as well would bump up the numbers of sold copies. Looks like Sony is going for the first option, we’ll see what happens next.
