Trademark of Xbox Exclusive Sunset Overdrive Registered By Sony

It seems that Sony has registered the trademark of Sunset Overdrive, an Xbox exclusive game.

This was found by Nibel, and shared on Twitter. The trademark has been registered in April, at the US Patent and Trademark Office. This might feel normal, but it’s kinda odd when the fact that it was released for Xbox One only in 2014 considered. Later on 2018 it was released for PC though.

We don’t know what Sony will do with the trademark yet, but they can probably do anything they want to do so with this upper hand they’ve got. Since it’s their own trademark, they will decide on it themselves.
