Xbox Insider Claims That ‘Ryse 2’ is in Development

For those who know Ryse: Son Of Rome, let’s be real here, the game did not meet the expectations in some matters. And as a game that was released in 2013, it did not get much of a fanbase. After seeing these results, Crytek probably scrapped their plans for the future of the franchise, or so we thought.

A new report shows that Crytek is working on Ryse 2, rumors of it being a multiplatform title are also present. A large-scale Crytek leak that was revealed last year has shown us that Crytek has been working on quite a lot of titles, and Ryse 2 is one of them. This time, an Xbox insider, Nick ‘Shpeshal Ed’ Baker, has also claimed that Ryse 2 is happening.

In an episode of the XboxEra podcast, he says that he got to know information about Ryse 2 in July, last year. This was before the leak had happened, and now, the source once again came up to him and assured him that the game is in development.

Multiplatform is another thing, and it is said that the game will release for both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. But let’s not forget the fact that these are just rumors, for now, so don’t get hyped up yet and take it with a pinch of salt.
