New Report Shows A New Uncharted Game Reportedly in The Works

We thought Uncharted’s story had ended with Uncharted: A Thief’s End, but actually that might not be the case. According to Bloomberg, another Uncharted game in development can be seen as an alternative after the issue with the Days Gone sequel.

When considering Bloomberg’s story, we can see that Sony is not fond of risking anything, so they want to go with things that will surely be successful. The matter of Days Gone sequel can be seen as an example, as they decided to go with the Uncharted franchise. It is also said that the project was planned way back in 2019.

There are numerous reasons why Sony decided to go for the Uncharted franchise, but for me, probably the biggest reason is that Days Gone as a PlayStation exclusive didn’t meet the expectations in terms of enjoyment of gamers. It’s probably the PlayStation exclusive that was the least successful. For now, Sony seems to pass on Days Gone and they do not wish to start development for a sequel.

It’s a good move to make a comeback for the franchise, the game will probably affect the movie or the other way around, but at the end of the day, I think Sony is on the right way. We will see what happens in the future, meanwhile, fingers crossed!
