An Insider Told That We Could Get Fallout: New Vegas 2!

Last year, a very unexpected surprising event happened. Microsoft announced that they were making a deal with ZeniMax Media (the parent company of Bethesda) to acquire them. And after days of agreement and deals, Microsoft acquired ZeniMax Media and became the parent company of Bethesda.

If you don’t know, the studio behind the original Fallout: New Vegas is Obsidian Entertainment. And Microsoft acquired Obsidian Entertainment back in 2018. So now they have the rights for the Fallout series and the company behind the legendary game Fallout: New Vegas. So, this makes it a high possibility for us to see a Fallout: New Vegas 2.

Obsidian is currently working on other projects and they are kind of busy with them. But another surprising thing is, an insider actually confirmed that ‘Fallout: New Vegas’ is in the works.

So who is this insider we are talking about? It’s Tyler McVicker. If you don’t know who he is, he gave the community inside information about Valve for years. He even leaked the fact that there was a prequel coming to Half-Life 2 before the Half-Life Alyx was announced.

He talked about this in a video about his channel’s future and plans. At some point, he stops talking about Valve and starts to tell us about other projects that he was hearing about. At the 3:56 mark in the video, he talks about the Nintendo Switch Pro, The Legend Of Zelda’s 35th-anniversary plans, and some other projects including Fallout: New Vegas 2.

However, he doesn’t give any specific details about the game. He just says that he has information about it. So we don’t know about the project that much. But it would be a great decision for Microsoft to make a sequel or prequel of this legendary game.
