A robber, who’s on the run, got caught because he went outside to buy Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. Turns out he fled from prison where he was supposed to stay for 17 years.
When he got arrested after assaulting one of the police officers, he said that he “can’t sit around” when in lockdown, so he decided to go out in order to buy Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.
His sentence for his crimes was supposed to end by 2024, but with these new crimes added, there’s no way he is getting away in 2024. He fled from prison around midnight on November 28th, 2020, he was wanted by police ever since.
He got a total of 19 more months jail time, 13 for fleeing prison, and 6 for assaulting a police officer. The real question is: Is it worth risking such a thing in order to buy a video game?
