Genshin Impact 1.4 Update Adds Dating-Sim Like Story Quests
Genshin Impact gets a new type of story quest with the new 1.4 update and it looks like a story from a dating sim. The update launches on March 17th for PC, Android, iOS, PS4, and PS5.
To qualify for the in-game spring festival, players should reach Adventure rank 20 and complete the Song of the Dragon and Freedom questline. If the conditions are met, players should get an invite to the festival. The trailer for version 1.4 is below:
The new type of storyline which will come with the latest update will include “some quality time hanging out with Barbara, Noelle, Benett, and Chongyun, creating a rich range of memories together” said developer miHoYo. The trailer also indicates that we may have more of these events added in the future.

This will surely be something new for the game. I’m excited to see how this will turn out after release.
