Emotional tweet from the producer of ‘Mortal Kombat’

Not all games are about violence. The games could be about deep philosophical questions like Disco Elysium, or about friendships like Animal Crossing: New Horizons, or even about making a nice little neighborhood like The Sims 4. The trailer of Mortal Kombat movie went very well with the fans.

The upcoming movie looks intriguing, a redesign of the much-loved Mortal Kombat games and movies (there was only one movie, no sequel) to be released in April.

On Twitter, Todd Garner reported that the trailer had an emotional response to the waves of support it received.

Some of the characters we’ve seen in the movie so far range from Sub Zero to Scorpion to Jax and beyond. There are familiar faces, bloody and exploding arms everywhere in the trailer, so we’re excited to see these characters come to life on the big screen once again. At least we know that the effects will be slightly better than the 1995 Mortal Kombat movie, which was also not a sequel. Or at least we hope that is the case.
