Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Is Getting Black Flag DLC

Since the days of Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag, Ubisoft has realized there is a lot of potential to add a healthy sail line to any AC game. Recent entries into the series like the Odyssey allow you to sail the whole of Greece to the assassin, while Assassin’s Creed Valhalla leaned against the fact that you were a Viking sailing the rivers of England and plundered as it progressed. Now with the new Valhalla DLC, Ubisoft takes us back to the roots of sailing content with new Black Flag cosmetics.

The new River Raids mode gives you a whole lot more raids for your fun, and Jackdaw cosmetics are coming with its release.

The Jackdaw was the legendary ship you owned in Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag. So adding the black sail from the ship to your Viking ship is a nice reminder for him. The hull of your Viking ship can be upgraded to look like the Jackdaw’s red and black hull, and you can even get the Jackdaw’s tail and dummy head to add to the ship. While he’s not exactly the same as Edward Kenways, there’s no denying he looks bad.

You have to complete river raid missions to earn these rewards. These challenges mostly consist of playing the new mode and earning points to collect your new loot. Full details of the challenges can be found on the Ubisoft website. Be quick, this is a limited-time event.
