WB Games Montreal, the studio behind the upcoming Batman game Gotham Knights, confirmed that the team has completely redesigned the combat system to improve the cooperative experience.
Gotham Knights is an open-world single-player and cooperative action role-playing game starring the playable Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood, and Robin.
“We completely redesigned the combat system to work well in the cooperative,” Fleur Marty, executive producer of Gotham Knights, told GamesRadar +. “Sure, we’re still a brawler, and some mechanics won’t feel completely unfamiliar to those who play and love the Arkham series, but in many ways, it’s very different.”

Gotham Knights came out in August 2020 and are expected to be released this year on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, and Xbox One.
