Valve has announced the winners of the 2020 Steam Awards voted by players. Most categories would be eligible if games were released on Steam after November, so 2020’s game of the year is Red Dead Redemption 2, and that’s why it came to Steam in December 2019. Rockstar’s cowboy-em-up also won. Outstanding Story Rich Game award for beating many popular contestants as well as Detroit: Become Human.
The Labor of Love award includes games from previous years that received post-launch support that players find worthy of celebration. The rest is pretty self-explanatory.
