People are incredibly excited about the upcoming Harry Potter RPG Hogwarts Legacy. Released on existing and next-generation platforms in 2021, players will discover as they attend classes like Hogwarts, Hogsmade, and The Forbidden Forest, learn magic and ultimately make choices that will shape the world around them.
Much of what we know about Hogwarts Legacy is very limited at the moment because there is only one trailer and that’s all we got the official announcement. But the idea that the game would feature multiplayer raids came to be a question mark in the minds of fans. We’re not entirely sure where and how this rumor originated, but it doesn’t seem to be true. As cool as it is to team up with your friends and blast some dungeons together in Hogwarts Legacy, the official word game makes it clear that it’s a purely single-player experience.
The game is an open-world, single-player, action role-playing video game (RPG) set in the wizarding world of the 1800s, according to the Hogwarts Legacy FAQ on the website. The story allows players to experience life as a student at Hogwarts. Note that the phrase “single-player” is used on the website, which somehow dispels the multiplayer rumors (at least for now). Of course, there is nothing to suggest that developer Portkey Games will not add some kind of multiplayer game to the game after its release.
