CD Projekt States That They Will Protect Themselves In Lawsuit
The developer of Cyberpunk 2077, CD Projekt Red stated that they got the notice of the class-action lawsuit against them and will “undertake vigorous action to defend itself against such claims.”
Response to the filing of the class-action lawsuit against them by New York-based Rosen Law Firm came from the Management Board of CD Projekt Red. The lawsuit had been filed on behalf of purchasers of Cyberpunk 2077 between January 16 – December 17, 2020.
The lawsuit has been filed to decide on “whether the actions undertaken by the Company and members of its Management Board in connection with the release of Cyberpunk 2077 constituted a violation of federal laws, i.a. by misleading investors and, consequently, causing them to incur damages.”
