New Yu-Gi-Oh Game Announced for Nintendo Switch

A brand new Yu-Gi-Oh has been announced for Nintendo Switch. The card war game was announced online during Jump Festa 2021. For those who have not been able to keep up with the Konami game for a while, the rules have changed considerably. Gematsu reported that Rush Duel will allow players to normally summon multiple monsters in around and draw until you have at least five cards in your hand. You will also be able to get the heroes and villains of the SEVENS anime. However, a release isn’t close as Rush Duel is still in development. Until then, fans can play with all previous heroes in Yu-Gi-Oh. The Legacy of the Duelist: Link Evolution. Use this game to speed up some of your skills before the new game starts.

For those who don’t know, Kazuki Takahashi, Yu-Gi-Oh! For Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in September 1996. The original series aired until March 2004 and was a tremendous hit overseas by then. The story follows Yugi, a young boy who comes across an ancient Egyptian puzzle. After deciphering the artifact, he shares a body with the spirit of an Egyptian pharaoh. Many people try to retrieve the puzzle for malicious purposes, and it is up to Yugi and his friends to keep the puzzle out of dangerous hands. As time goes on, the Duel Monsters card game becomes a set for battles with bets that go beyond the limits of life and death. It’s a wild ride and definitely worth a visit.
