New Graphics Options and Other Additions With Major Update for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

A new update for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla was released by Ubisoft across all platforms. Adding new graphics options for Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X/ S along with major bug fixes for all platforms.

The 1.0.4 update is now available after its release on November 26 for Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, Xbox One, Stadia, and Amazon Luna.

One of the most crucial changes is the option to either use Performance or Quality mode on Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. To explain these two settings, Performance mode will aim for 60FPS and adapt the resolution and graphics settings for it. Meanwhile, the quality setting will max out resolution and graphics, maintaining 30FPS. Ubisoft stated that Performance preset is the default option for Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X, where it is Quality preset as the default on Xbox Series S.

This update also improved the experience on Xbox series X and S after reports for screen tearing from users. Plus a RAM leak issue would happen when alt-tabbed to desktop on PC. Updates on Cloud saves and tweaks for damage stats and fabric resource accession. Runes are now categorized as well, with the ability to automatically assign all of the nodes on the path towards it when you unlock a central skill in the skill tree. This change will definitely come in handy.
