Valhalla is The Biggest Assassin’s Creed Launch Ever

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla shifted more copies during its launch week than any other game in the long-running series to date. It was also Ubisoft’s best PC launch ever, with a record for sales directly from Ubisoft’s digital store.

It is worth noting that Ubisoft does not reveal any actual sales figures, but we can say that Valhalla surpasses the previously stated launch week of the franchise, with 3.5 million units worldwide by Assassin’s Creed 3.

Especially in the UK, Valhalla doubled its boxed sales during the Odyssey’s launch week two years ago. It’s no small feat given the increasing percentage of digital sales and the fact that many street play stores are currently locked down.
