In 2021, Ruined King, A League of Legends RPG Coming to Console, PC, and Switch

Riot Forge, responsible for streaming spinoffs set in the League of Legends (LoL) universe, shared more details about The Ruined King, a turn-based RPG set in Runeterra. The single-player LoL adventure targets a release in early 2021 on both console and PC.

Ruined King was first announced at the 2019 Game Awards and was billed as Riot’s first single-player game. Developed by the Airship Syndicate (Darksiders Genesis), the Ruined Kingdom is a turn-based RPG where players will control a party of popular League of Legends heroes like Miss Fortune, Illaoi, Braum, Yasuo, Ahri, and Pyke.

The group will travel from the port city of Bilgewater to the Shadow Isles cursed by the Black Mist. Probably, this is where the Ruined King is spooky.

Riot Forge boss Leanne Loombe said, “Ruined King is a great way to expand the world of Runeterra for new players and our dedicated League of Legends fans. Ruined King will be the first single-player game to bring the LoL universe to both consoles and PC.”

Ruined King will be released on Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC via The Epic Games Store. The free upgrade for PS5 and Xbox Series X / S will be released later for PS4, and Xbox One owners.
