Ghost of Tsushima Can be Played at Up to 60 FPS on PS5

Ghost of Tsushima developer Sucker Punch has confirmed that the game can be played at up to 60fps when played on PS5 using the Game Boost feature. In a tweet confirming that the samurai action game can be played on the next-generation system thanks to backward compatibility from day one, the team announced that you can transfer it from PS4 to pick up where you left off.

“PS5 owners playing with Game Boost will see an extra option that allows frame rates of up to 60FPS, and while the upload speeds on the PS4 are already great, just wait until you see it on the PS5!”

ICYMI is hitting the 1.1 update Ghost of Tsushima on Friday, October 16th, when fans can finally get the New Game Plus mode they want. After defeating the main challenge at least once, you can switch to the new mode with all the techniques, gear and cosmetics you unlocked in your previous game, and this time you will have a new horse to carry you.

Sucker Punch saw how much adorable red foxes are loved in Ghost of Tsushima, so this update will also allow us to recruit large furry Mongolian war dogs by giving them a hearty petting.
