Probably, a third season of The Witcher is on the way by Netflix.
Although the second season’s filming is not finished, Redanian Intelligence has brought us the news that a third season of the critically-acclaimed show is going ahead, with Lauren Hissrich. Along with the confirmation of Hissrich’s participation, the other clue is that the production is planned to start in 2020 and 2021.
Moreover, Hissrich has recently announced The Witcher: Blood Origin, a new six-part series. It will be a prequel story that is about 1200 years before Geralt and the events that we know. It will also show the origin of the Witchers and how they came to be. It has been confirmed by Hissricht that the creator of Witcher Andrzej Sapkowski will be included with pleasure.
