While researching Red Dead Online’s files, Dataminers discovered 50 new character models that look like zombies. Other discoveries include new creepy music, Halloween Outlaw Pass, and spooky cosmetics. Zombie models appear to be buried in Red Dead Online’s files, as seen in a video released yesterday by YouTube channel and data setter Red Dead Guides. Currently, these immortal models are not used in the game and are referred to as “Army of Fear” models in the files.

There is possible evidence that these potential zombies may be linked to an upcoming Halloween event. In July, another data miner claimed to have discovered new, unused music at RDO. These new audio files contained the word “Horror”. Some files also use the letters Fear of “FOA” and maybe something that begins with the letter A.

New models and new music seem to be connected in some way. Interestingly, the last Halloween event in Red Dead Online also used the word horror in its name. And in GTA Online, Rockstar is using the same name “Halloween Surprise” for every year’s spooky update. Beyond the new zombie models and music, various data markers found numerous files and images about a possible Halloween-themed Outlaw Pass. According to data miners, the pass will be smaller than regular Outlaw Passes with only 20 levels. The premium version of the pass will cost 15 gold bars, and the prizes players will open appear to have also leaked online for those wondering.

All of this seems to point to a major Halloween update soon. Remember, while these leaks and evidence seem to point to a major Halloween event involving zombies, none of them have been officially confirmed by Rockstar.
