PS5: Full-Priced First-Party Games Will Appear To Be $ 70
Sony has announced that full-priced first-party PS5 games will cost $ 70 when released, apparently pointing to a high price point for the next generation.
Games like Demon’s Souls and Destruction All-Stars, announced in a PS Blog post after September’s PS5 event, will cost $ 70, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales $ 50 (or $ 70 for the Ultimate Edition) and Sackboy A Big Adventure $ 60.
Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick previously defended the company’s decision to adopt a $ 70 price point, but Ubisoft holds $ 60 for now.
