Ubisoft released Scott Pilgrim vs the World, which was on PS3 and Xbox 360. The game’s source was Scott Pilgrim comics and movie.
It was liked by not only by the fans of Scott Pilgrim but also by old school side-scrolling beat ’em ups. But it was never released on PC and in 2014 was delisted from PS3 and Xbox 360, too.
Then, the time passed, and RPCS3 PlayStation 3 emulator brought back Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (to the PC as well) but it was devoid of online multiplayer mode, at least until now. The latest update, which is a work of a PlayStation Network emulator and developer GalCiv, supports the online multiplayer. Moreover, this update seems to facilitate the connection with other players.
The emulated version makes it available to those who bought it once on the console, as well as those who do not have a pirated result or purpose of emulation, depending on whom you ask.
Earlier this year, the 10th anniversary of the Scott Pilgrim movie drew some attention, and the creator Bryan Lee O’Malley said, Ubisoft reached out to him, after talking about trying to reissue for over four years.
Moreover, framerates and rendering in Killzone 3 and God of War 3, seem to have been improved with the recent patches for RPCS3.
