Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League Revealed

Warner Bros revealed Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League during DC FanDome livestream. This is a new game developed by Rocksteady about DC Universe’s team of semi-reformed supervillains who are compelled to do good sometimes, and it will be released in 2022.

The game contains Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, and King Shark characters and, players are allowed to play with them all. We see in the trailer that while Metropolis is being attacked by Brainiac, they are hanging out. But then, they are activated and after Superman comes, they are sent, as well. But this is not the Superman we know. It’s a superman who murders people without hesitation.

When we take the subtitle into account, Kill the Justice League, probably there are evil forms of Batman, Wonder Woman, and the others.

Creative director and co-founder of Rocksteady, Sefton Hill, was interviewed by Will Arnett and we got some more details after the trailer was released. And seemingly it will be a “continuation of the Arkham-verse”. Gotham Knights is not on the same timeline as the Arkham games, maybe this one will be.

Members of the Suicide Squad have different weapons. For instance, Deadshot has a jetpack that can be used to set people on fire and wrist- cannons. Another character, Harley Quinn, uses grapple guns and a baseball bat. King Shark uses a sort of big cannon and twin cleavers. And Captain Boomerang throws boomerangs. The players can switch between these characters.

Warner Bros also revealed Gotham Knights made by WB Games Montreal. In the game, Batman is dead and the crimefighters protect the city in his absence.
