Crysis Remastered Has A New Release Date

The new release date of Crysis Remastered is the 18th of September and the game is coming to PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

Crysis Remastered was first leaked in April but Crytek confirmed that the game would be released in the summer. And then, the game’s release date was leaked in the Microsoft Store in late June, and it was going to be released on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Switch on the 23rd of July. But after the leak, fans did not like the look of the remaster as soon as they saw the leaked screenshots and trailer, so Crytek decided to delay it.

The remaster, which does not contain any multiplayer games and which is only of the first game in the series, will have some graphical updates including ray-traced reflections and 8K textures. Co-developing the remaster with Saber Interactive, the studio behind the Switch port of The Witcher 3, Crytek has released a new tech trailer comparing the new version with the original one which released in 2007:

However, if you want to play Crysis Remastered on Steam, you will have to wait. While the entire original series can be played in the storefront of Valve, the remaster is being released exclusively to the Epic Games Store.
