There Will Not Be an Infinite Warfare 2!

Robert Bowling who is an ex Call of Duty dev and now works as a Creative Consultant for EA tweeted ‘You will NEVER get Infinite Warfare 2’ as a response to a player who asked about Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare 2.

Although the trailer of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare was “the most disliked gaming video on Youtube ever”, the game was the best-selling game in 2016 which was a huge win in Activision’s side. As we all know Activision has a cycle for its franchises and 2019 was supposed to see Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare 2 but the source of the tweet, Robert Bowling, is accepted as a reliable source considering he was a Creative Strategist at Infinity Ward.

Activision did not comment on the subject and it may as well be just a speculation but Bowling also stated that the players would get a ‘Modern’ shooter this year so it is possible that Modern Warfare 4 will be this year’s release.

I guess we will just wait and see.
