The legendary Co-creator of Marvel Comics, Stan Lee, has passed away Monday morning. The comics community is grieving for this loss. But this is a sad day for not only the comics fans, but also for everyone else who were inspired by his works and his fans.

96 years old comics legend was suffering from pneumonia and he also had problems with his vision. Stan Lee (Stanley Martin Lieber) was born on December 22, 1922 in New York. He was influenced by movies when he was a young boy and used this inspiration to create the legendary comics characters of today’s comics world.

He started working in comics in 1939 as an assistant at Timely Comics. Afterwards, the company changed its name to Atlas Comics and Stan Lee started writing stories in various genres like science fiction and horror.

Since then, Stan Lee has been the creator of many super heroes. Starting with The Fantastic Four, many of them were born thanks to him. He used a different approach when he was creating his heroes as they had negative sides instead of being pure good or evil. This was the main reason for his success in comics market.

He followed the same path and introduced us many other heroes like X-Men, Hulk, Thor, Iron Man, Daredevil, Spider-Man etc. He will be remembered for his unique imagination. On top of that, he will especially be remembered for his humble appearances in conventions and being a fan friendly comics super star. We will never forget that he and his team changed many aspects of the comics market as we know today. And we owe him a lot.

You will be missed Stan Lee. Rest in peace.
