Telltale’s The Walking Dead final season now has a release date

Telltale’s episodic graphic adventure game The Walking Dead is one of the most precious games of all times, if you ask me. The reason behind my admiration is of course our beloved Clementine.

Finally, Telltale is now offering a closure to The Walking Dead series with the final season of the game. According to the announcement made by the developers, the first episode of The Walking Dead: The Final Season will be available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC on August 14. Along with that, a Nintendo Switch release date will be announced soon.

Our little Clementine is now a young girl capable of protecting herself in the wrecked world of The Walking Dead. The Final Season will be the end of Clementine’s story and hopefully will bring a satisfying closure.

The Walking Dead: The Final Season will feature a new over-the-shoulder camera system, a new Graphic Black art style and scenes with unscripted combat. Also, new types of choices will be added to the game.

After years on the road facing threats both living and dead, a secluded school might finally be her chance for a home. But protecting it will mean sacrifice. Clem must build a life and become a leader while still watching over AJ, an orphaned boy and the closest thing to family she has left. In this gripping, emotional final season, you will define your relationships, fight the undead, and determine how Clementine’s story ends.

Starting from June 8, you will be able to pre-order The Final Season on PS4, Xbox One, and PC for $20 and will have all episodes when they are out.
