Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines was one of the best video game representations of White Wolf’s tabletop – pen & paper setting, Vampire: The Masquerade and many gamers are curious if  a sequel is coming or not. According to an interview of PCGamesN with Paradox Interactive’s CEO, Fred Wester, the company has intentions to make a game based on the settings of White Wolf and it will most probably be another Vampire: The Masquerade game.

We are not sure about this of course. Because just like Wester said, “[they] need to know what the next ten years are going to look like” for the company. They are currently looking into a couple of RPG settings of White Wolf and they will try to pick the best one out of it. However, as it is indicated in the PCGamesN article:

“A new Vampire game does seem to be something relatively high on Paradox’s list – Wester acknowledges that a second Vampire game “is an obvious choice” – but it’s not something they can begin yet – “it needs to feel right, it needs to be the right team […] for the game.””

This is exciting news for sure. If you are a RPG addict like me and if you played Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines before, or if you ever tried any one of tabletop setting of White Wolf, you can understand my excitement. The setting itself is just perfect for a big RPG and I do hope that Paradox Interactive will have a positive decision on that matter. Personally, I would be so happy to see a game based on one of the White Wolf settings.

Although it is an exciting news, we do not have any official information yet. But we will wait until we hear more from this possibility.

So, that means that you should also stay tuned for more!
