Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire is now available on Steam

Obsidian did it again fellas.

Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire, the sequel to Pillars of Eternity,i the beautiful mixture of old-school pen & paper like RPG games and the modern visuals, is now live on Steam. Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire created a huge hype in our team to be honest. The first game was already a masterpiece with Icewind Dale, Baldur’s Gate like gameplay and modern visuals and sound effects.

The second game will take off where you left the game the last time. However, this time you will be chasing a rogue god who killed many before it was awoken. It is your duty to chase it and see what it wants from the mortals. Here are the main features and the system requiremeents of the game:

“Pursue a rogue god over land and sea in the sequel to the multi-award-winning RPG Pillars of Eternity. Captain your ship on a dangerous voyage of discovery across the vast unexplored archipelago region of the Deadfire. Bend the world to your will, as you explore the depths of infinite possibilities, including detailed character customization, total freedom of exploration, and more meaningful choices at every turn.

• Immerse yourself in a deeper single player RPG game experience – enriched with cutting edge technology and features, Deadfire builds on the foundation of classic D&D gameplay with vastly improved graphics, deeper game mechanics and a whole new hand-crafted adventure where choices truly matter.

• Discover the new region of the Deadfire – plot your own course by ship and explore the rich and exotic islands of the archipelago region, discovering new places interacting with their inhabitants and engaging in a variety of quests at every port.

• Build your party and customize your companions – choose from 7 different companions to join you on your quest and assign multiple classes and deeper abilities for each. Witness their personal relationships and interactions unfold with the addition of the new companion system.

We had the privilege to put our hands on the game before it was released and as a huge fan of the old-classic RPG games, I can assure you fellas that it looks and sounds amazing. It both offers a nostalgic flavor along with a new and improved visual experience. On top of that, don’t forget that the universe in which the game takes place is also unique and rich. It also offers a unique mechanic which allows you to control your own ship and manage it as you like. I don’t want to make a bold statement but I am really satisfied by what I’ve seen so far.

Obsidian team did again what they do the best fellas: they amazed us with the quality and the beautiy of another game. I can’t wait to lose myself in the story of Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire!

A detailed review is on its way and if you are interested in the game, you can buy it on Steam now!
