Outlast 2 gets a new Story Mode which makes the game pretty easy to enjoy the story

Outlast 2 was considered as a pretty hard game when it was first released. Even though it was tuned down for a little bit, it was still frustrating for some people. However, you can now enjoy the story with this new Story Mode without dying as much as you did before.

The new patch included a huge step for the game. This new mode will tune down the challenges, you will encounter fewer enemies and you will have more time to just relax and focus on the story more than your survival. It is also indicated in the notes on Steam that they have made more room for exploration which means that you can walk around and see what was hidden behind that bush you always wanted to check out but never had the chance because there was a woman with a huge pick-axe waiting for you to crush your balls…damn.

Also, apparently, they have added the content they had to remove before launch in order to get the M rating instead of an Adult Only rating. Now you can fully enjoy the horrors. Go ahead and enable the mode fellas and delve into this game, If, of course, you can dare playing it once more.
