Age of Empires: Definitive Edition is now available
In June 2017, Adam Isgreen, creative director of Microsoft Studios announced Age of Empires: Definitive Edition at the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2017. Now, the remastered version of Age of Empires, Age of Empires: Definitive Edition is available.
Age of Empires: Definitive Edition features overhauled graphics with support for 4K resolution, a remastered soundtrack, and other gameplay improvements. Age of Empires: Definitive Edition is the complete RTS package. The game offers over 40 hours of updated campaign content with new narration and pacing, up to 8-player online battles, new competitive features and modes.
