Game Awards 2017 winners have been announced! We have a couple of good surprises along with many others that were expected to win. I don’t want to waste your time with my blabbering… So, here is the full list for you fellas:

- Best eSports Player – Lee Sang-hyeok “Faker” (SK Telecom 1, League of Legends)
- Best eSports Team – Cloud 9
- Student Game Award – Level Squared (Kip Brennan, Stephen Scoglio, Dane Perry Svendsen / Swinburne University)
- Best Debut Indie Game – Cuphead (Studio MDHR Entertainment)
- Chinese Fan Game Award – jx3 HD《剑网3》重制版 (Kingsoft Corporation)
Best Game of the Year Award goes to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild which is not surprising. Also, It is good to see our old friend, Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice taking two different awards, though it is not a surprise that it won the Best Audio Design Award. I still have the nightmares for that… And I would like to congratulate Melina Juergens for her astonishing performance in giving life to Senua in Hellblade.
