This War of Mine Father’s Promise DLC is now out
11 bit studios’ This War of Mine is one of the most beautiful and saddening thing that ever happened to me. I am not even sure that I am ready for a new heartbreaking experience, yet here is the Father’s Promise DLC.
This War of Mine is a precious little survival game in which you play as the civilian side of the war. The game offers a different and a valuable point of view to the war-themed games. The struggle is real, heartbreaking and maybe even a heavy burden which will not go away for a long time.
After The Little Ones DLC which included children to the game, now we have the Father’s Promise DLC. In order to celebrate the game’s third year anniversary, 11 bit studios’ released Father’s Promise which is the first episode of a new DLC series.
Become Adam – a father trying to save his daughter from the horrors of war and leave the besieged city. Follow their steps and discover a story of love, hate and sacrifice – the emotions we all share in the darkest of days.
The Father’s Promise DLC introduces:
- A brand new storyline based on an audio-drama written by the famous Polish author, Łukasz Orbitowski
- 4 completely new locations
- 5 reconstructed and remastered locations
- Set of new game mechanics: dialogue and clue searching systems
