Hawken will be removed from Steam on January 2nd

Hawken launched on Steam back in 2014 and it was loved by the community. The game is a free-to-play multiplayer FPS and features vehicular combat.

Yesterday, developer studio Hawken Entertainment shared an open letter to the community in order to let us know that the Steam servers are shutting down. The PC game will officially be removed on January 2, 2018, and all DLC and purchasable content are also now unavailable.

“It’s been an incredibly rewarding experience working alongside such a dedicated PC player base. Your feedback and support has been invaluable to us, and the team looks forward to creating more great games based on what we’ve learned from you” says the announcement.

Well, so long Hawken. You will be missed by PC gamers.
