Warframe’s New Update Adds Open World Features to the Game

During TennoCon 2017, Digital Extremes revealed their new update which will implement to the game a Open World feature. As you can see in the video, this new update which is called Plains of Eidolon will add a huge map with many new interactive features.

One of the biggest addition to the game will be the freedom to fly around and explore the limitless map. Archwing will be your main transportation which you can summon whenever you want. In addition to that, you will be hunting for resources all around the map. Lakes, landscapes and other features will be available to discover and use. With the day/night cycle, this update will be a huge step forward for Warframe.

You can check out the video above for more details. As for the date, we still don’t have an official declaration. But we expect, and the devs say, that it will be available some time in 2017.
