E3 2017: Nintendo Press Conference News Round Up

Yesterday, Nintendo set the stage on fire at E3 2017. Nintende shared more detailed news and new trailers for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Super Mario Odyssey, Rocket League, Nintend Switch and many more.

Let’s see what happened at E3 2017 Nintendo Press Conference.

Metroid

Metroid Prime 4 is coming for Nintendo Switch! It has been a long, long time since we’ve played Metroid Prime 3: Corruption and this was one the most exciting news during the whole Nintendo Press Conference.

There is no release date nor a announcement trailer, yet Nintendo announced that the game is under development for Nintendo Switch.

But, wait! There is more! Metroid: Samus Returns is coming for 3DS. Samus Returns is a reimagining of Metroid II: Return of Samus. Samus Returns will be available on September 15.

Kirby

Nintendo Switch is getting a new Kirby game. There is no specific title yet, but we know that it is a side-scrolling Kirby game and will be released in 2018.

Upcoming Kirby game will support four people co-op platforming. This Kirby game is coming in 2018, yes, but there are another news for 2017. In order to celebrate Kirby’s 25th Anniversary, Team Kirby Clash Deluxe, Kirby’s Blowout Blast and the multiplayer Kirby game will be out for 3DS.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is getting two expansion packs this year! The first expansion pack, The Master of Trials, will be out on June 30. The second one, The Champions Ballad, will be out during the holiday season of 2017. Nintendo will also release new Amiibos of the four champions later this year.

Pokemon

Pokemon Company president Tsunekazu Ishihara announced that a Nintendo Switch exclusive cor RPG Pokemon game is coming. There is no specific release date for the game, yet it may take more than a year.

Also, Pokemon Ultra Sun and Pokemon Ultra Moon will be released simultaneously on the Nintendo 3DS on November 17.

Rocket League

Rocket League is coming to Nintendo Switch later this year! The Switch version of the game will have some exclusive additions. There will be toppers that look like the hats worn by Mario and Luigi and new cars. The Switch version of the game will also support cross-network play and local play between multiple Switches.

Super Mario Odyssey

Finally, Super Mario Odyssey has a release date! The game will be out on October 27, 2017 for Nintendo Switch. Super Mario Odyssey is offering a core Mario platforming experience since he is the father of all platformers.

While playing Super Mario Odyssey, Mario will be able to throw his hat Cappy to enemies and possess them. Here is the trailer:

Xenoblade Chronicles 2

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 finally has a release date. Upcoming Nintendo Switch RPG game will be out during the 2017 holiday season.

Fire Emblem Warriors

Fire Emblem Warriors is a hack-and-slash Fire Emblem spin-off and the game now has a new story trailer. Here, take a look:

Yoshi

A new Yoshi game is coming for Nintendo Switch! Yoshi will be out in 2018. Here is the trailer:

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Well, I must admit that the only reason that I am so excited for Switch is Skyrim. “The legendary open-world adventure where you can be anyone and do anything, now allows you to play anywhere – at home on your TV or on the go. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim for the Nintendo Switch console includes all-new exclusive features like motion control for combat and lockpicking, outfits and gear from The Legend of Zelda franchise, and amiibo compatibility. Coming to Nintendo Switch Holiday 2017.”

Sonic Forces

Sonic Forces is offering fast-paced action as Modern Sonic and will be out on Nintendo Switch this holiday.

Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser’s Minions

Mario and Luigi journey to the Beanbean Kingdom with Bowser to restore Princess Peach’s voice. Yes. While playing the game, we will control Mario and Luigi simultaneously, making use of their unique Bros. The game will be available on October 6, 2017.
