Sci-Fi RPG ELEX Gets A Gameplay Trailer

Everything changed when the meteor hit.

Piranha Bytes‘ ELEX is a noteworthy title since it combines elements which are specific to science or fantasy. We can wield a sword or use a laser gun or use magic, or even combine them thanks to Elex.

ELEX is set in Magalan; a beautiful planet which was advanced in technology, civilized and home to billions, supposed to have a brilliant future. But then, the meteor hit. With the meteor, there came Elex. A limited power source that can power machines, open doors to magic and re-shape life itself.

There are three classes in ELEX: Beserkers, Clerics, and Outlaws. Berserkers used Elex to obtain magic, Clerics used it to have advanced technology and finally, Outlaws used it to turn themselves Elex addicts. Like I’ve mentioned before, some of these addicts are powerful enough to control Elex, they can harness the substance and become super-humans, yet they have to give up their emotions.

ELEX is releasing for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on October 17. THQ Nordic shared the very first gameplay trailer for ELEX.
