You be the JYDGE!

The freedom of customisation is surely one of the biggest reasons why games can be re-playable. The fact that you can try different combinations in different situations to have different outcomes could be the most enjoyable part of a game. Imagine playing your favourite game over and over again with another character which is completely different than the first one. Yes, that’s what I’m talking about. And now, imagine that you can do it whenever you start a new objective. Neat huh? JYDGE offers us this freedom of trying different solutions for different situations.

A New Roguehate Top Down Shooter from the Devs of Crimsonland 2

What JYDGE offers to its players is the freedom to choose between different solutions for different and carefully developped scenarios. The main character of the game is a cybernetic law enforcer: JYDGE. And his mission? Exterminate the criminals from the beautiful and family-friendly town of Edenbyrg.

Different ways to deal with different situations

In order to deal with these criminals, you will transform your cybernetic police officer into a killing machine. These are some features you can find in the game:

  • Choose your cybernetics, items, mods, and companions from over a BILLION different configurations.
  • Deal ruthless Jystice with your Gavel. Fire lead, rockets, lasers, electricity, and other deadly tools of the law.
  • Find creative solutions to get extra medals for your heroic performance and unlock new equipment.
  • Break, enter, and confiscate as you please with vastly destructible environment.
  • Team up with your CO-JYDGE for local co-op.

The best thing about JYDGE is that it lets you choose how to finish the scenario with your modifications. And also, you will get secondary challenges which will give you heroic medals. With these medals, you will unlock new upgrades and features for you and your weapon. The reason why I think these secondary challenges are a good idea is because it will force you to test your talents. Because sometimes you will have to be quick and finish the job in 30 seconds. And sometimes, you will have to be stealthy and avoid being seen. For a shooter game like this, it’s an interesting feature to have. You will be the one to decide what to do and how to do it. And a co-op option? That’s “a must” for JYDGE, and the devs knew it.

We can expect JYDGE to be released sometime in Fall 2017. For more information about the game, you can visit their official website. And if you would like to play the game and think it could be a good time-killer for you, go to the Steam Greenlight page and give your support. But, of course, it’s your own JYDGEment (hehe…ehm).
