Perception Delayed a Week on PS4 and Xbox One

Perception is a first-person narrative horror adventure game by ex-BioShock developers, The Deep End Games. Why is that saying ‘by ex-BioShock developers’ so relieving? Well, because BioShock.

We are aware that Perception is nothing like BioShock. Still, we can’t help but expect something near to that quality. Perception offers a brand new point of view to the horror genre, and that is why we are so excited about it.

Perception is set in a abandoned house, yet this popular concept undergos a change at The Deep End Games’ hands. Perception puts players in the shoes of a young blind woman named Cassie and she uses her extraordinary hearing and razor-sharp wits to unravel the mysteries of an abandoned estate that haunts her dreams.

Cassie uses echolocation to see. That means when you create a sound, you will be able to sense and detect the objects around thanks to the sound waves they reflect. Cassie uses a cane to make the sound and equipped with a smart phone.

PC version of Perception will hit on May 30 on Steam and GOG, yet console versions will not. Here is why. Oh, and they shared a new trailer for the game named ‘Welcome to Echo Bluff’. You can also watch it below:

The delay is just for one week and the console versions of the game should launch on June 6. Steam page of Perception is live and you can go ahead and add it to your wishlist by visiting here.

We will be back with more detailed news about Perception. Stay tuned for more!
