The Surge is set in an industrial, near-future Earth. The most noteworthy part of The Surge is the idea behind the combat system. The Surge’s combat system will let you target specific limbs of enemies and harvest their technology after.
Our protagonist Warren is ready to start his first day at CREO, but when he wear his exo-skeleton, everything changed.
Taking control of the exo-suited Warren, players will explore rich, secret-filled environments and venture deep into the heart of tech company CREO’s devastated facility – all while battling crazed employees with fried cranial implants and robots gone haywire.
The Surge uses limb based targeting system which means you can target the weak points of your enemies since some part of their bodies are not armored. But beware, the same rules apply for the enemies.
The Surge will have unique character progression system based on modular upgrades gained through combat. Customization of your exo-suit will lead different fighting styles. You have so many options as you can see:
