Good old days, good old games.

Saint’s Row games are known as their weird  take on open-world crime games like GTA series, especially after the 3rd and the 4th game. In my opinion, Saint’s Row: The Third was the best game on the franchise, the 4th one wasn’t really a “fourth game” and weirdness went through the roof. Gat out of Hell? Let’s all forget that game, shall we?

Anyway, Saint’s Row 2 was the last “serious” game on the series, and it had a lot to tell. If you would like to know more about the iconic characters in the franchise, you should play it. It has some flaws of course; especially, driving cars is a hellish experience (If you are a satanist, change that with “heavenly”). All controls were generally cranky & we prefer a Saint’s Row with a lot of weirdness sauce on it.

Good old Games, aka GOG.com has a Deep Silver sale going on right now, and to celebrate the sales, they made Saint’s Row 2 free.

The game also has a co-op mode supported by Gamespy, but as you all know, Gamespy went bye-bye, thus the mode does not work anymore. But if you want to give a try, (Emine and I surely will) here is a solution for the Steam version, but I don’t see any reason for it to not work on GOG.com version. Here it is.

Go get it, tigers!
