‘Kill to slow time.’

You know Dr. Who’s definition of time: “People assume that time is a strict progression of cause and effect, but ‘actually’ from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint, it’s more like a big ball of wibbly wobbly… time-y wimey… stuff.”

We perceive time in a certain way, for us time is irreversible and unstoppable. Time has always been a complicated hornets’ nest for science, religion, philosophy and us. And this is why it is always so charming to play with it. This is why killing in order to slow time is a fantastic concept for a game.

Upcoming Explosive Shooter by Crimsonland Devs Time Recoil 4

Developers of Crimsonland, 10tons recently revealed their upcoming game, Time Recoil. Time Recoil is an explosive slow motion top-down shooter in which we have a super power: Kill to slow time. When you kill your enemy, this action will trigger slow-motion and if you continue killing in slow-motion, your cooltime will extend and power up a special move. This is your key to unleash the hell on your enemies!

Time Recoil also has a exciting background story. We rebel against our restless mad scientist archenemy: Mr. Time. Being a member of a rebel organization provides us access to what we need in order to bring Mr. Time on his knees. A time machine which lets us travel through time!

Here are the key features of Time Recoil:

  • Your mission: Locate and kill Mr. Time
  • Your super power: Kill to slow time
  • Conduct unbelievable slow motion feats
  • Dash through walls, blast them to dust!
  • Beat your friends in the speedrun-mode

Ray Bradbury once said that “Time look like snow dropping silently into a black room or it looked like a silent film in an ancient theater, 100 billion faces falling like those New Year balloons, down and down into nothing.” Deep, huh? Well, this is how time look while you are playing Time Recoil:
