Payday 2 Is Free to Play Until April 12

The co-op first person shooter Payday 2 is free to play until April 12th!

Payday 2 was released in 2013 for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Later, the improved version of the game, subtitled Crimewave Edition hit PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2015.

Payday 2 is a sequel to 2011’s Payday: The Heist and the events take place 2 years after the previous game. We play as one of the seventeen members of the gang and start our heist with AI players or we can team up with our three friends. As usual, we rob banks, shops and cars, steal, distribute drugs and all the other illegal stuff.

Now, Overkill announced that Payday 2 is now free-to-play until April 12th to celebrate the Spring Break event.

Spring Break is a 10 day event filled with content, competitions and some special surprises we got in store for you. During the whole event we will have a 75% sale on the base game and all DLC:s. We will also activate Free-to-Play on the base game during the event so that we can extend the gang!

You can go ahead and team up with your other 3 friends give it a go. Co-op is always fun!
