Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is on Alpha stage

Will we be able to see Senua this year?

We certainly hope so. As an independent studio, Ninja Theory develops a fascinating experience about a character who lost her mind a little. In their developer diary series, the studio told us about how did they capture strong emotions by facial scans, how did they create the voices inside Senua’s head, or about managing the combat system.

In this dev diary, Ninja Blade finally announces us that Hellblade has entered Alpha stage. That means, the game is playable from start to finish but will undergo a lot of revisions. Additionally, there are some new in-game footage in the video. Let’s see:

Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice will surely bring a new perspective about the psyche of characters. As we can see in the video, the team works with certain professionals for collecting realistic data about the “madness” of Senua. They and worked with neuroscience professors, psychologists and even psychosis patients for their experiences.

Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice will be out for PC and PS4 sometime this year.
