New Call of Cthulhu Trailer, “Depths of Madness”

“Mr. Pierce, have you ever questioned your own sanity?”

Have you? In these times, we all should consider questioning our sanity as a matter of fact. In a Lovecraftian way? Maybe, it depends on how often you see dreams of impossible angles, cultic sacrifical rituals or unnamed cities that you cannot remember where you remember it from (the last one hit right at home). Anyway.

Cyanide Studio’s new “official” Call of Cthulhu game is coming this year, but we unfortunately do not have an exact date yet. I hope someday we won’t have to write about a delay.

The new trailer is, by the way, does everything right. It makes us confused, terrified and stricken with a fear that does affects the brain, but not the heart. Watch it:

Watch it 3 times in a row, and guarantee a sleepless night. Me? I watched it nearly twenty times by now because I am a… Ehm. Who needs sleep anyway? Sleep is boring.

In this sublime experience, we’ll give life to the story of Private Detective Edward Pierce; who will delve into the depths of madness while searching clues about a “Great Dreamer”. The game will be a RPG-Investigation game, with psychologial horror and stealth elements, so we can expect a stressing atmosphere that makes us tremble in our ortopedic gaming chairs.

Call of Cthulhu: The Official Videogame will come to PS4, Xbox One, and PC, in 2017.
