genDESIGN and SIE Japan Studio‘s upcoming action-adventure puzzle game The Last Guardian already melted our hearts, thanks to Trico. The Last Guardian tells a story of a young boy meeting Trico; a giant, feathered, lovely creature.

While on his way of escaping from prison, the young boy encounters with Trico. Trico is in a bad shape and hurt, chained up and spears and arrows sticking out from his body. The young boy helps Trico even though the creature is hostile, since it knows that humans can be cruel. After helping Trico, the young boy and him are now bounded together and help eachother to escape.
